FCO #19086 Dolev 800P - Standard Controller Spinner Driver

In cases that the Spinner Driver Board goes into a shutdown mode or cause fails in start up, replace the Spinner Driver Board comp. level N with board having Comp Level O.

Explanation of Conditional Change

Implement this FCO in cases that the Spinner Driver Board goes into a shutdown mode or cause fails in start up. The relevant error messages are detailed in paragraph 1.

Change compatibility level from N to O.   

Reason for Change

The Spinner Driver Board changes its mode to shutdown on some power levels. This is due to sensitivity to noise of one of the components on the board. Sometimes the board will cause failures at power on.

The relevant error messages are:

CRI Index Freq. error                        
Spinner enc. freq. err                     
OMC spinner frequency Error                    
spinner set error   

And the spinner will not rotate (red led will be lit).   

Description of Change

Replacing the Spinner Driver Board comp. level N with board having comp. level O.

Change Procedure

1. Turn off the Dolev 800                    
   
2. Open the right cover door.                    
   
3. Open the standard controller door.                
   
4. Replace the Spinner Driver Board with the one supplied in the FCO kit.
   
5. Reassemble the standard controller door.            
   
6. Close the Dolev 800 right door.                
   
7. Restore power.

Test Procedure 

Make sure that the self test passes without any error message.

   Turn on the spinner in the diagnostics and make sure it rotates.

The replaced Spinner Driver Board should be sent back to STCL for update.
