Explanation of Conditional Change

This FCO should be implemented in all Dolev 800 plotters which use system version 5 and higher or diagnostics version 1.3A and higher.

Change compatibility level from P to Q.   

Reason for Change    

1. To eliminate failures in diagnostics for "Micro Controller Test" when using diag. version 1.3A and up.    
          
   
2. To eliminate shifts on film when low expose clocks are used.   

Description of Change

Replacing STROBE 5 board comp. level P with comp. level Q.

Change Procedure

1. Power off the Imagesetter.   
                  
   
2. Replace the STROBE 5 board with board comp. level Q, which is supplied with the FCO.

Test Procedure

1. Expose a synthetic plot (screen) and verify that no shift occures within the exposed line.   
                  
   
2. If diagnostics ver. 1.3A and up is used, run the micro controller test. Verify that everything passes.

The replaced board should be sent back for upgrading.
