The OMC board is replaced with a new one to solve Intermittent Communication Error and to solve Intermittent Loading problems.

1. REASON FOR CHANGE

Replace the OMC board to solve problems communication.

3.1 Turn off the Imagesetter.
3.2 Disconnect the Data cable from the OMC board.
3.3 Open the Controller.
3.4 Remove the OMC board.
3.5 Install the supplied OMC board (comp. level T).
3.6 Close the Controller.
3.8 Connect the Data cable to the OMC board.
3.9 Turn on the Imagesetter

4. TEST PROCEDURE

4.1 Verify that the Imagesetter passes Startup without error messages.
4.2 Run few exposures and make sure that the Communication Error does not appear.

The old board should be sent back to STIL

8. LOGISTICS

Material for performing this FCO will be supplied 5 months after orders are placed.
The FCO kit will be supplied in quantities of 5 at a time, and after that the boards will be sent back to STIL.
