Micro Version 5.16

The new version 5.16 has contains some new features and it will solve some of the known problems including the dual queue. It requires the PS/2 released version 4 with the Echo update # 2 or higher and/or Whisper version 7.1 RL with Update UPDT_PLT_45_A.

1. Reason for Change

1.1    New Features - see the attached document.
1.2    Solved problems - see the document.
1.3    Add new diagnostics. Diagnostics 1.07 will support the laser diode static optics and Diagnostics 1.3
         will support the old type.

2. Description of Change

The Dolev 800 is updated with the new version that is loaded on the Dolev 800 by booting from the new diskette. The PS/2 or / and the Whisper S/W must be updated as well.

3. Change Procedure

3.1    The istallation procedure is described in the attached document ( Micro Version 5.16 cat. #
        399Z8F702A)
3.2    Verify that the new version was loaded.
3.3     Configure and upgrade the PS/2 or the Whisper according to the Dolev 800 Configurations with version 5.16

Setting the Protocol ( On the PS/2 ):

Select Set-Up
Select I/O Devices
In #5 - Dolev 800 Parameters change the flag in option 6 to ver 5
Exit from the setting
Reboot the Dolev 800

In case of two PS/2 's repeat the same procedure for both PS/2's and only then reboot the Dolev 800

4.1 Check the Dolev 800 functionality
4.2 Check and adjust the Dolev 800 tables.
