PREFACE

This FSB includes a list of the latest ECO's and their related FCO's for Dolev 800, which can be relevant to the field.

This FSB presents the following ECO's:

1. ECO 17273 - New cheaper 5V power supply
2. ECO 17409 - OMC PC assy   
3. ECO 17480 - Dolev 800 Panel Assy   
4. ECO 17500 - Cable Angle on Dynamic Optics
5. ECO 17508 - New RS 232 cable for Laptop
6. ECO 17598 - Fast Data 2 PC Assy

1. ECO 17273 - New Cheaper 5V Power Supply {data unit}

A new 5V power supply for the DATA Unit will be available in the near future. The changes on the wiring are on the DC cables connections. Refer to drawing no. 732E8A616 (#19 #26).

There are also new holes for the new power supply in the Data Unit Crate Assy. Refer to drawing cat. no. 733D8A688.

Note: The new power supply cat. no. 209A05301 will be available in the S/P Kit 510L30018. Related serial nos: from plotter S/N 11220 and up.

2. ECO 17409 - OMC PC Assy

Upgrading board comp. level O to P.

This ECO solves a few problems related to the OMC boards:

1. Analog MUX 16 problems
2. "OMC BAD COMMUNICATION" problem
3. OMC/ANALOG/MODULATOR failured

This ECO also enables diagnostics from host via a single cable.

FCO 510F17409 was released . Related serial nos. to perform the FCO are: up to plotter S/N 11210.

FSB 315 describes all the changes between OMC board comp level O to board comp level P.

3. ECO 17480 - Dolev 800 Panel Assy cat. no. 503K30397

Upgrading Panel board comp. level K to L.

Sometimes the panel starts up with buzzer On. Therefore, a few changes have been made on the panel board.

The ECO involves adding new items and disconnecting others. FCO 510F17480 was released. Related serial nos. to perform the FCO are: up to plotter S/N 11200.

4. ECO 17500 - Cable Angle {dyn.optic}

To avoid damage on Dynamic Optic Cable.

In the Dolev 800 the Dynamic Optics Cable is supported by the cable angle. It occured that the cable angle was causing damage to the cable Harness. Therefore, a new cable angle was designed, which differs from the previous one. The difference between the old cable angle, cat. no. 260B30821 and the new cable angle cat. no. 260B30821A is by giving an angle of 75° instead of 90° which was damaging the Harness.

5. ECO 17508 - New RS 232 Cable for Laptop {diag}

Sometimes, when the RS 232 cable was connected to Com1 on the CPU, booting problems have been occured. In order to solve this problem, a new cable have been produced - cat.no.504G34023A

There is also an option to connect the cable to an adapter - cat.no.184G00010 - which enables connection of a terminal for diagnostics.

Note: The new RS 232 cable and the new Adaptor will be a part of the "Personal Jigs for Dolev 800" - cat.no. 510L34299 .

The cable will not be supplied with the plotter any more (ECO 17307), as from plotter S/N 11200 and up.

6. ECO 17598 - Fast DATA 2 PC Assy.

Upgrading board comp level O to P.

This ECO was released in order to eliminate problems of blank plots due to a collision on the LBX Bus between Fast DATA2 board and CSS boards.

FCO 510F17598 was released. The FCO involved replacing PAL U208 to Rev.- A . Related serial nos. to perform the FCO are: up to plotter S/N 11210.
