1. Overview

After installing the Internal Conveyor into the plotter, adjustment should be made in order to set the correct film path in the unloading process. In order to save alignment time it is recommended to adjust the Funnel and not the Internal Conveyor.

Adjusting the Funnel to the Internal Conveyor

  1. Install the Conveyor into the plotter according to FSB 265.

  2. Make sure that the conveyor is parallel to the plotter frame and that it does not protrude the plotter's rear side. It is actually supposed to be 3mm within the frame.

  3. Measure the distance from the conveyor front to the middle of the conveyor input. Mark it as C

  4. Measure the distance from the reference line to the conveyor. Mark it as B.

  5. Measure the distance from the reference line to the middle of the funnel "on line" output. Mark it as A.

  6. Adjust the funnel A distance to be B + C.

  7. Install the adjusted funnel and check the conveyor.

  8. Check the film path and make sure that the film goes into the conveyor without being disturbed. In case of any problems, readjust the funnel according to the procedure.
