Problems & Tips

  1. Spreader Roller
Sometimes in the old plotters, the spreader roller does not touch the drum perfectly. On one side it does not touch the film - a kind of gap. Therefore the positioning of the roller is adjusted by adding shims on the inside of the spreader holder (part #94 in dwg. 731E8F262 - Opto. Mech. 800P).

  2. Problem of Film stuck in conveyor
Reported by David Spitzer - STE.
It appears that the film gets stuck in the conveyor because the lower belts slide to the side and lift the Out detector in the Conveyor. This simulates a case where film is left in the conveyor although there is no film .
In other cases which were reported the problem was that the belt was out.

  3. VERSION 6.03 - It was reported by Yigal Yaacov that there are problems in the markers in version 6.03. Although the markers are used in Positive they appear in Negative.

  4. OMC BOARD - Res/Int. table
When replacing the OMC board there is a need to set the Res/Int. table. Make sure to check it!
