Getting Started

To operate the Dolev 800 Diagnostics, perform the following steps:

1. Insert the Diagnostics diskette into the 3.5 inch floppy drive on the front right side of the imagesetter.
   
2. Power off the imagesetter. Wait ten seconds and power on the imagesetter.
   
3. From an I/O station, Press Tab and select System. Then continue as you would from an Interactive station.

5. Select Diagnostics

Select Dolev 800 Diagnostics

When the program is accessed, the Startup Screen is displayed on the terminal. Select the Dolev 800 diagnostics.

Diagnostics Dialogue Screen

After a few seconds the diagnostics program appears on the screen of the host computer. The Data boards are separated from the rest of the machine diagnostics. Follow the diagnostics dialogue to complete the check.

Note: Option 3:Machine, on the screen above, is used to carry out diagnostics on the imagesetter. The option is not currently available.
