Background

CTF products can be sent by sea in order to reduce costs when there is enough time to meet the delivery lead time, or when air transporation is not an option.

Procedure

Important: Always load, check and seal the container in Creo. Do not add single machines to any container that was not loaded, checked and sealed in Creo.

1. Load the container in Creo.
2. Check the container for identity plate and safety data, as shown following this procedure.
3. After the container is loaded, secure the equipment so that it will not move inside the container during transport.
4. In Creo, check the container to make sure that is is well sealed (no holes in body, doors seal aperture).
5. Arrange for the container to be sent to the harbor as late as possible.
6. Arrange for the container to be placed inside the ship, and not on the deck.
7. Arrange for the container to be removed from the harbor immediately after unloading.
