Lotem^® 800 II

Background

Patch #4 or higher, enables CS Xpose to connect to Lotem Controller software version 3.75.

Procedure

Important: CS Xpose 1.01.028 must already be installed on the platesetter BEFORE loading the Patch #4 update.

1. To update both the Lotem 800 II and Quantum speeds, download Patch #4 from the Creo ftp site:
   • FTP address: ftp://ftpcsa.creoscitex.com/Proof-Expose/download/
   • File name: CSXpose_Patch#4.zip (password protected file)
   • Password: Creo
     
     Patch #4 contains the following files:
     CSXposeUpd4.exe
     UnistCSXposeUpd4.exe
2. On the Prinergy^® workstation, close all applications and windows.
3. Restart the Prinergy workstation.
4. Double click the CSXposeUpd4.exe to open the Update Installation wizard.
5. Follow the wizard's instructions.
6. When the wizard installation is complete the workstation will automatically restart.

Note: Always restart the Prinergy workstation after each software update installation.

7. Start CS Xpose in order to confirm that the update has been correctly installed.
8. From the Help menu, select About CS Xpose. The name of the About CS Xpose version should be 1.01.028 upd 004.

To remove the update (in case of problems):

1. On the Prinergy workstation, close all applications and windows.
2. Restart the Prinergy workstation.
3. Double click UninstCSXposeUpd4.exe. The Remove Installation window opens.
4. Follow the wizard's instructions.
5. When the remove installation is complete, the workstation (with CS Xpose release version 1.01.028) restarts.
