Procedure

1. Open the Splot terminal.
   The Quantum>> prompt appears.
2. Type set head type 3.
   Quantum>>set head type 3
   Ignore any warning messages.
   The Quantum>> prompt appears.
3. Type head program.
   Quantum>>head program
   Ignore any warning messages, and wait for the Datalink exposure head coming online message to appear.
4. Type head boot.
   Quantum>>head boot
   Ignore any warning messages, and wait for the EH boot command (3) completed successfully message to appear.
5. Quit the Splot terminal to free the serial port.
6. Open a DOS prompt.
7. Type cd \th2\tools.
   C:\>cd \th2\tools
   The C:\TH2\Tools> prompt appears.
8. Type tehload p=8 filename.bin.
   C:\TH\Tools>tehload p=8 filename.bin 
   The filename is one of the following:
• th2h101e.bin
• th2firmware.bin
9. After the file completes loading successfully, open the Splot terminal.
   The Quantum>> prompt appears.
10. Type reset.
    Quantum>>reset
