Cause

Laser diode failure

Solution

1. Run diagnostics. If the LDA driver board passes the diagnostic tests, you do not need to replace the LDA driver board.
2. If one or more diode failures occur, in the Magnus 400 Controller, select Utilities > Hardware > Expose System, and double-click Laser Group.
3. In the Laser Group dialog box, in the Lasers Calibration Area, click Auto Cal to calibrate the diodes.
   
   
   
   
4. If the problem persists, see Splice the problematic diode.
