The F II optic laser head is factory-installed on all Magnus 400 II (LDA) family configurations. During plate exposure, the F II laser head uses 36 working diodes with at least 2 spare diodes (instead of the 42 working diodes on Magnus 400 (LDA) family configurations).

To this end, and to prevent the error message Performance reduced due to non working diodes from appearing, in the Magnus 400 Controller software, in the Hardware tree, go to Laser System/Laser Group. Right-click Laser Group and select Properties. In the Properties: Laser Group dialog box, change the current Value of the Min Lasers For Reduce Performance Message parameter from 42 to 36, and click Apply.

Two D-box configurations are available for the Magnus 400 family and Magnus 400 II family platesetters. The D-boxes are compatible with both products; the only difference is the color of the D-box.
