Magnus VLF - Controlled Release 3.1 (ECO CA10519, 03 Aug 2006)

NOTES:

• You must install the version of Service Shell in this controlled release before downloading firmware in this controlled release.
• You must have a customer dongle, service dongle, and customer license files before installing this release or the result will be a hard-down situation.
• You must have 2 GB RAM on the Print Console workstation for system stability.

CR 3.1 Highlights

• Supports both TMCE and GMCE boards.
• Supports all Series 1 and Series 2 devices.
• Has Control Release Installer check list.
• Brisque Direct functionality not supported.
• Has been tested with Prinergy Evo 3.1.6.2 that supports queue management improvements.
• Has been tested with Prinergy 3.1.0.2 . Two patches were made to resolve the following Prinergy issues:
  • JTP crash on queue size, subdirectory Supra contains a dll that should be installed in the $ARAXIHOME\AdobeExtreme\bin directory
  • Abnormal name query broadcasting, subdirectory UADM contains files that should be installed in the $ARAXIHOME\CreoAraxi\bin directory)
  
  Download the Prinergy patches for CR 3.1 zip file (8 MB) and follow the installation instructions in the readme.txt file.
• Two NVS parameters were added to address the issue with different spacing for different plate sizes when ejecting the plates.
• Print Console now provides feedback on what the device is doing during startup.
• Improved handling of PSRM errors during initialization.
• Fixed a problem when the Z-stage does not go to 0.00 position when the safety loop is opened.
• Fixed a problem when unloading and ejecting plates with a mainscan of 57 to 63 in. on Series 2 configurations.
• Fixed a problem with clearing the mediaonunloadtable flag on Magnus VLF CL devices.
• Fixed a problem with the TE Push registration recovery sequence.
• Fixed a potential problem with the MCU cassette crushing the cassette eject cylinder during multiple resumes.
• Fixed a problem with Socket port conflicts.
• Fixed a problem with JTP crashing on workstation with both Prinergy and Evo running.
• Fixed a problem when plate not resheduled after prinergy cancelled the active separation.
