The power entry box is located at the back of the output device, on the motor side. It acts as an A/C power entry point for the semi-automatic and automatic devices via the main power switches, and filters out electrical and magnetic interference from the site's A/C power supply. It also provides high current protection for the device, manually activated emergency power disconnect, and override of laser safety protection by means of a key operated switch (flashing LEDs indicate that the laser safety protection is in an overridden state).
It is constructed of galvanized steel sheet metal with high impact resistance.
Access to the power entry box is available to trained and qualified personnel only. Operators cannot access the box at any time.
A hand tool is used to remove the device's front panel and gain access to the back panel of the power entry box.
