Shutter.

Error

APL doors cannot be unlocked and opened after the shutter fails to close.

Cause

If the shutter is stuck in the open position, the firmware will prevent the APL doors from being unlocked and opened.

Solution

• Stop any imaging process or mechanical operation on the Magnus VLF device.
• Manually override one of the APL door locks to gain access to the inside of the APL.
• Find and fix the reason for the shutter being stuck open. This may be a faulty solenoid, mechanical interference, or faulty cylinders.
• After repairing the shutter, check the functionality of the shutter door (open and close).
• Close the APL door and return the door lock to its original position. Once the door is closed, the safety loop will be complete and the shutter should operate normally.
