Error number

DVC14: Drum Vacuum regulation lost, pressure too low.

Component

Drum Vacuum System

Problem

Drum Vacuum System cannot regulate pressure and shuts off.

Symptoms

Drum Vacuum System shuts down during operation.

Causes and Solutions

Vacuum disconnects from the system

If a vacuum tube disconnects from the system, the pressure in the drum rises to atmospheric pressure.

  1. Check for any loose or damaged vacuum tubing - replace tubing if necessary.

Cables disconnected

  1. Check that the cable connecting the workstation to the ThermoFlex machine is tightly connected.
  2. Check that the cable connecting the Drum Vacuum Drive to the ThermoFlex machine is tightly connected.

Vacuum pressure sensor has disconnected

  1. Use a slotted screwdriver to remove the front and left side panels of the ThermoFlex machine.
  2. Inspect the red polyutrethane tube connected from an orifice on the Drum Vacuum to the sensor on the TEE board. Any kinks in the polyutrethane tube will prevent the sensor from obtaining an accurate reading. Replace the tube if necessary.
  3. Remove the polytrethane tube from the Drum Vacuum orifice and inspect the opening for any blockages.
