Table Vacuum Not Working

Description

Table vacuum not working. (This refers to the six dimpled vacuum holes along the right edge of the table used to hold the media in order to peel off the backing sheet.).

Causes

One or more vacuum generators not working.
Vacuum generator(s) plugged
Solenoid valve on manifold block not functioning.
Vacuum generators not receiving compressed air.

Solutions

Check to see that vacuum generators are receiving compressed air by removing the tubes that go into the inlets of each vacuum generator and pressing the vacuum button on the table (hold the ends of the tubes steady to keep them from flying around.
If air does come out of the tubes, the vacuum generators will have to be cleaned. Please refer to the section on vacuum generator maintenance.
If air does not come out of the tubes, check the table vacuum solenoid valve. If the valve is getting power when the vacuum button on the table is pressed, the solenoid valve will have to be replaced.
