Description

The base frame is common to both ThermoFlex and Trendsetter VLF (TSV) machines. The side and rear exterior panels on the ThermoFlex are identical to those used on TSV.

• The system of exterior panels, table, and flashcover protect the user from laser emissions and mechanical hazards. All panels that gain access to the recorder cavity are wired into the door interlock loop (see Interlock system).
• The rear edge of the main crossmember is formed and positioned close enough to the drum to function as a pinch point hazard guard during drum rotation.

Notes

The three front panels on early ThermoFlex machines are mounted to the frame via adapter brackets. On later machines, pockets in the frame and tabs on the panels, similar to other panels on TSV, are used to mount the front panels.
