Background

The ThermoFlex backup utility provides a fast and easy way to save the registry and database onto a disk. This utility is installed together with the ThermoFlex Controller software on the ThermoFlex Controller PC desktop. This procedure describes how to use the utility.

Note: If you need to create an image DVD, see Backing Up Drive C or Entire Hard Disk Using the Backup and Restore Tool. This backup and restore tool contains any required licensing information and allows you to bypass the need to reinstall the license.

Procedure

1. On the desktop, double-click the LotemBackup icon.
   
2. In the dialog box, set the following parameters:
   • In the What To Backup area, select any of the following information that you want to back up:
     • Registry
     • Database (with version 2.01.354.011)
   • In the Backup Information area, in the User Name box, type your user name.
   • In the Comments area, type any necessary comments.
   
3. Insert a formatted disk into the disk drive.
4. Click Backup Now. The information that you selected to back up is saved onto the disk.
5. Click Close.
