Product description

The NELA PL-T plate preloader is available for all autoloading models of the Kodak Trendsetter NEWS thermal platesetter. It features a direct connection to the Trendsetter NEWS CTP device for integrated operation, and is capable of automatic single-wide or double-wide offset plate preloading and slipsheet paper removal. In addition, it has a de-ionizer to eliminate static from paper, a plate trolley with interleaf paper disposal basket, a control panel with LCD display, and integrated diagnostics.

In cases where the fully automated selection of two different plate sizes is required during production, the Trendsetter NEWS/NELA PL-T combination is available with a dual-bay option for the Trendsetter NEWS device. See the Dual Bay Option Information page for more information.
