Controlled Release Version 4.0 (ECO CA07077,  2005)

IMPORTANT: Some Trendsetter NEWS devices may require hardware upgrades (GENINE board, carriage drive amplifier, unload table pulley) before upgrading to Controlled Release 4.0. See Trendsetter NEWS Release Notes for MCE firmware version 1.30 for more information.

A JPS Patch 2 for Print Console 3.17 is available if you experience these problems with Synapse NewsManager and Trendsetter NEWS CR 4.0:

• Synapse NewsManager groups two images to create jobs for dual-stack devices. When only one image is available and two plates are being loaded, the job will fail in the device.
• Every other single broadsheet job from Synapse NewsManager gets stuck in edge detect.

NOTE: You must install the version of Service Shell in this controlled release before downloading firmware in this controlled release.
