Cause 1: Safety loop is broken.
Solution: See VLF Trendsetter AL safety loop.
Cause 2: Conveyor vacuum is inadequate.
Solution (a): Check solenoid and valve for damage or wear.
Solution (b): Check for poor connections and faulty wiring between
the vacuum generator solenoid and the Genine 4 board.
Solution (c): Check that the firmware has sent the signal to turn on the
vacuum generator solenoid. Check that the vacuum setpoint is not too low.
Solution (d): Check that the air supply to the vacuum generator is adequate. Check
for low pressure or leaks. Also check the vacuum line and the plate suction device for
leaks. See Diagnosing the air supply.
Cause 3: Genine board has failed.
Solution: Genine 4 driver may have failed. See VLF Trendsetter AL Genine boards. |
