Problem	The y-axis fails to grip the plate properly.

Causes and Solutions	Cause 1: Y-axis does not extend/retract properly Solution: See Y-axis does not extend/retract to correct position. Cause 2: Gripper has failed mechanically. Solution: Check the gripper: Type 'gripper on' Place a plate on the table Type 'gripper clamp on'. Pull gently on the plate If the gripper fingers don't hold the plate, the leaf springs or the air cylinder may have failed. Replace the whole y-axis assembly. Cause 3: Genine 0 board has failed Solution: See VLF Trendsetter AL Genine boards. Cause 4: Faulty connections Solution: Check for poor connections or faulty wiring between the valve and Genine 0 board.
