- Slip sheets are not counted correctly
With the bag correctly installed, cycle it in and out to verify the function of the bag sensor. Ideally there will be an LED on the GT SSR test jig to display the 'bag removed' status. If a problem exists and the sensor is not reading correctly in a repeatable fashion, a stack of M3 washers may be required to offset the sensor away from the bag. These sensors are known to have a variance in sensing ranges.
- Slip sheet count resets shortly after bag removal is initiated
Ensure that the slip sheet sensor is in the rear-most hole in the panel facing the base machine. If the operator figures out he/she can trick the system to thinking that the bag has been emptied, the bag will overfill and wear out the system prematurely.
- Slip sheet bag is hard to remove, or one of the slip sheet bag rails does not go in all the way
During assembly, the bag rail hangers are not mounted on the same surface under the compactor chassis. One side is suspended below the bottom plane of the 'lower cavity wall' and the other is located on the bottom of the SSR chassis, but offset with heavy M6 washers. If these washers are forgotten or removed, the mounting rail will be too high, causing the bag rail to hit a flange on the rear leg. The machine will still function, as the SSR door can still close.
