Skins and Guard Rail

Before installing the skins and guard rail:

• The Trendsetter VLF must be correctly installed. See the Base Trendsetter VLF installation procedure.
• The imaging head must be installed. See the Head Install procedure (doc #77-0074A).

1. Check that the AC power is OFF.
   
2. Install the guard rail.

1. Open the p-door and raise the table.
2. Remove the two front panels from the Trendsetter VLF.
3. Slide the lower support panels under the front bottom edge of the machine until the vertical stops butt up against the machine. (When the front panels are replaced, their pressure will hold the plate firmly in place.)

4. With a helper, hold each guard rail assembly in place
5. Insert the bottom supports.
6. Fasten the top support.
7. Connect the two cables from the righthand guard rail assembly to the receptacle on the top surface of the Trendsetter VLF.
8. Install the cover bracket and the cover plate over the cables.
9. Align the sliding gate with the rail.
10. To adjust the gate-rail height:

• Rotate the bottom support rods until the sliding gate and rail are aligned.

11. Insert the four retaining pins.
12. Tighten all fasteners.
13. Lower the table.
14. Close the p-door.
15. Close the sliding gate.

3. Install all the Trendsetter VLF outer panels.
