Description

The power box for the Trendsetter VLF AL is located on the garage. It contains most of the Trendsetter VLF AL electronics. The main components are:

• Power supplies
• Power distribution board (PDB)
• Cooling fan (15-3165) on left side of power box

Power Supplies

A 48V power supply provides power to the PDB.

• PS1 - 13-3599
  
  • Megapac
  • provides DC power to PDB, MDA,CMD
  • +5 V @ 10A, +12 V @ 4.2A, -12 V @ 4.2A,24 V @3.1A, 80 V@ 5A
  • obtains AC input from PDB
  • provides -4.5 V and -2 V to backplane (Green head only)
  • provides +24 V @8.3A to ADLAS power supply (Green head only)
  • Located on the floor of the power box on the left side

• PS3 - 10-1440B
  • switching supply
  • provides DC power to carriage motor driver (CMD)
  • +5 V @ 3.0A, +12 V @ 1.8A, -12 V @ 0.3A
  • obtains AC input from PDB
  • Located on the rear wallof the power box above CMD

• PS5 - 13-4755
  • The part number used to be 10-3546A. The old part can still be used until the stock is gone.
  • switching supply
  • Obtains AC input from PDB
  • Supplies power to thermal head
  • 25V @ 24A
  • Located on top of PS1 on floor of power box
• ADLAS PS (Green head)
