Thermal3 Command
(requires ENG access)
lvd (<offset> <width>|all) (off|on)

Variables offset Specifies the first spot to control from 0 to 463.
width Specifies the number of spots to control from 1 to 464.

Description Set the spot state for the specified range of spots. The spot state, configurable for individual spots, will be one of the following:
  • Off
  • On

The spot state configuration can be updated as required, but only takes affect for the "Local" light valve control modes.

The NVS parameters med <media index> strokeoffset and med <media index> strokewidth configure the stroke. Note that the configured stroke does not affect the spot offset.

Notes Thermal 1.0 / 1.7x equivalents:
  • The monitor command lvd (<offset> <width>|all) (off|on) replaces spot <index> <width>, spot full and spot off.
  • Thermal 1.0 / 1.7x is limited to 240 pixels.
  • Thermal 1.0 / 1.7x is limited to turning one, two or four pixels on at any time with all remaining pixels off.

Thermal 2 equivalents:
  • The monitor command lvd (<offset> <width>|all) (off|on) is equivalent to lvd (<offset> <width>|all) (off|on).
  • Thermal 2 is limited to 240 pixels.
