Installation procedures

Mac OS X

The Virtual Proofing System application downloads as a .dmg file, which, when opened under Mac OS^® X, creates a virtual disk on the desktop called a disk image.

To install Virtual Proofing System 2.1:

1. Double-click the disk image icon on the desktop.
2. Drag the Virtual System Proofing application to the Applications folder and close the windows.

Note: If you have the beta version of Virtual Proofing System 2.1 installed, delete it before you install the production version.

PC

The Virtual Proofing System 2.1 installation downloads as a .exe file.

To install Virtual Proofing System:

1. Download the installation file from the Downloads page.
2. If a previous beta version is installed, run the installer once to uninstall that version.
3. Run the installer again to install the new version.
