Loading & Unloading Film

1. Insert the loading cassette and perform film loading from the large and small supply cassettes.
   
   
2. Perform film unloading.
   
   
3. Measure the length of the film. It must be the exact length of the film requested for film loading.

Perform a Calplot for Half and Full Resolution

Find the correct laser intensity for each exposure Full and Half resolution. Check that the exposure resolution is set correctly. Use the Calplot function to change the laser intensity to 60/80/100/120/140. Enter the values to expose the strips.

1.    Choose Strips from the Plotter Setting Menu.

2.    Choose Auto Plot - Write Int. from the Strips menu.

AutoPlot - Write Intensity

1. Write intensity Start Value: 2000 End Value: 10230 Step: 800
2. Strip Height = 5
3. Origin Step = 35
4. Number of Strip = 11
5. CAL - PLOT Parameters

3.    Enter the strip laser intensity values.

4.    Select Run to start the process of finding the correct laser intensity.

5.    Develop the film strips.

6.    Find the proper density on the film.

7.    Enter the proper laser intensity on the Machine Res Intensity table for your film type.

Exposing an Internal Pattern

Note: Internal Pattern is only available from Dolev 800 System Version 4.0

Cal - Plot Parameters

1. Plot Size: [H,W]     = 100.00, 100.00
2. Resolution [H,W] = 100.00, 100.00
3. Offset [H,W]     = 0, 0
4. Pattern Type     = Slash
5. Pattern Period     = 8
6. Pattern Width     = 1

Expose the same internal pattern grid twice. Place one film grid on top of the other film grid and check for good registration.For instructions, read the steps below.

Note: If there are registration problems, send the films to STCL for grid measurement.

[Choose Auto Plot - Write Int. from the Strips menu. Select Cal-Plot (5). CALPLOT exposes synthetic files without the host. Press ENTER. Select the exposure resolution under Cal-Plot.]

Expose a Full Format with the Customer Site's Mesh

Procedure I - On Customer Film

• Expose a full format (813 x 1117) uniform file. Use the Mesh most commonly used by the customer.
• Expose the same uniform file as a 4UP. Cut the film into four and overlay the films on a light table. Check for good registration.
