Introduction

The internal conveyor is an online transporting system for exposure media. This section contains instructions for installing, operating and maintaining the internal conveyor in the Dolev 800 imagesetter. An illustrated parts list is included.

The conveyor is designed to transport film or photographic paper from the imaging drum of the Dolev 800 imagesetter to an external transporter between the imagesetter and an "OnLine" LogE LS-3700R Rapid Access Processor.

The conveyor system is mounted on the internal frame of the imagesetter with a sliding rack mount that allows easy access to the conveyor for routine maintenance or a material jam.

NOTE: The terms "film" and "paper" are used interchangeably to describe the material being processed. "Right" and "Left" refer to the sides of the processor or imagesetter as viewed from the operator's position at the feed end.
