Panel Covers Removal

Refer to:    Dolev 800 Panel Covers Removal,  Dolev 800 Technical Manual, CreoScitex No. 772-8A368

1. Turn off the Imagesetter.
   
   
2. Remove the following cover panels:
   
   a.    Two (2) side doors
   b.    Two (2) internal side light covers
   c.    Upper back cover
   
   Caution: Do not open the Standard Controller electronics crate. This installation does not require access to this crate. Working with an open electronics crate may result in damage to the Imagesetter!
   
   
3. Prepare a clean space large enough to accommodate the top cover of the Imagesetter. Select a place where the cover is unlikely to be scratched or otherwise damaged.
   
   
4. Unfasten the five (5) screws securing the top cover to the main frame. The accompanying figure depicts all screw locations.
   
   
5. Unfasten the grounding cable at the left side of the cover.
   
   
6. Open the upper door.
   
   Caution:
   a). Two men are needed for top cover handling.
   b). A lateral movement is required before lifting the cover upward.
   c). The cover is made of fragile polyurethane.
   
   
7. Lift off the top cover and place it in the prepared clear space.
