Plate exposure and unload fail on Lotem 400

Product

Lotem® 400 platesetter

Symptoms

  Plate exposure and unload fail.

Cause

Pressing Restart Plate State resets the plate status to No plate on drum. If there is a plate on the drum, you cannot restart the plate state, and you cannot expose or unload the plate.

Solution

  1. Verify that there is a plate on the drum.
  2. From the Loading System dialog box, click Force Plate On Drum to force the system to acknowledge the plate on the drum. Then you can either expose the plate, or unload it.
Important: Always do a visual check to make sure that there is a plate on the drum before you press Force Plate on Drum.
