Error

• Mismatched plotter expose lines, required=xx,xxx, DDB counted=yy,yyy.
• Expose Task Failed.
• Master Sproc ReadBack verify failed. MCF card startup required. Slave Sproc prepare access failed.
• System Error 5230

Symptoms

Mismatched plotter expose lines appear intermittently, sometimes accompanied by error messages.

The problem looks like a data shift around the drum after a varying percentage of exposure. Sometimes the exposure aborts, and sometimes it continues with gaps of several centimeters, until the end.

Cause

There is a malfunction or other problem with one of the following:

• Cable or cable connection:
  • TSP cable
  • E-box to L-box cable
  • L-box flat cables
• Board related to data transfer:
  • TSP
  • DDB
  • MCF
  • Strobe
  • NUC
• L-box power supply
• Drum motor power supply

Solution

1. Verify that the following cable connections are secure and that the cables are in good condition. Replace if required.
   • TSP cable
   • E-box to L-box cable
   • L-box flat cables
2. Verify that the TSP board is detected during configuration.
3. Replace the following boards:
   • TSP
   • DDB
   • MCF
   • Strobe
   • NUC
4. Check and adjust the L-box power supply.
5. Replace the drum motor power supply.
