Power Distribution

Electrical power enters the power box through a power inlet on the lower right side of the ThermoFlex near the floor. The AC follows a path through a circuit breaker to the PDB (10-1428A).

The PDB distributes AC power to:

• three power supplies
• main drive amplifier
• fan box fans
• blower
• card cage fan
• power box fan
• carriage motor fan

DC power distribution for the ThermoFlex is generated by three power supplies located in the power box.

• PS1 is located on the floor of the power box on the left side.
• PS5 is attached to PS1.
• PS3 is attached to the rear wall of the power box above the CMD board.

DC power is distributed from the PDB to:

• backplane
• engine satellite electronics
• exposure head

The EMI filter and varistors are connected to the PDB.
