Description
Carriage driver board sends signals to drive the carriage stepper motor. The 10-amp maximum board operates from a single 48 V power supply and does not need PS3 to operate.
Checking voltage supply test points helps to isolate problems resulting from connection and power supply failures. Reseat all connectors on the PCB assembly before checking voltage supply test points.

FCOs
- CA05160: Replaces carriage driver board power supply cable 220-00061A with cable 220-00163B. The new cable connects directly to the power supply (PS2), and so it does not feed the electrical noise generated by the carriage driver board into the MCE board.
- CA00752: Introduces this part as a replacement for part 10-4935C.
History
10-4935C: Made inactive with FCO CA00752, which upgraded the carriage driver to increase the performance and reliability of Trendsetter carriage systems.
