| Description | The registry consists of three 32K blocks of flash used as primary, secondary and baseline parameter sections. The primary and secondary sections provide a redundant backup for reading and writing registry keys ( or parameters ) while the baseline section provides a baseline for the registry keys ( or parameters ). Each registry key is written as a registry control block followed by a data block. The registry does not make any assumptions about the type, size or usage of the data block. | |
| The monitor command reg verify verifies the integrity of both the primary and secondary parameter sections. The registry control block and data block for all registry keys are read and verified using checksums in the registry control block. Any errors in either the primary or secondary parameter section will be automatically corrected but errors in both the primary and secondary parameter sections require user intervention to correct. | ||
