Thermal2 Errorcode: [00216] Beam-balance prevented by the range of pulse heights
Thermal2 Errorcode
[00216] Beam-balance prevented by the range of pulse heights

Service Information The beam-balance determines the stroke profiles at the maximum pixel level and the minimum pixel level. A target profile is then calculated based on the NVS parameters med <media index> beamslope, med <media index> beamcurve, med <media index> scorr <spot pair> and the stroke profiles. This error indicates that the range between the stroke profiles at the maximum pixel level and the minimum pixel level is insufficient to meet the requirements of the target profile.

Enabling the verbose information for the beam-balance sensor subsystem will display the stroke profiles at the maximum pixel level and the minimum pixel level and the target profile.

Typically the beam-balance will succeed if the NVS parameter bbs maximumerror is increased or the NVS parameters med <media index> beamslope or med <media index> beamcurve are decreased.

Operator Action Call service.

Causes
  • The stroke profile does not provide sufficient range to meet the requirements of the target profile.
