Tune the beam-pointing controller(s). With the write laser on, acquire samples from the differential sensor with a step change in the piezo voltage. The beam-pointing controller for laser A and the beam-pointing controller for laser B can be tuned by mathematical analysis of the step response of the position samples of the differential sensor. With the beam-pointing enabled and the write laser on, acquire samples from the PSD sensor with a step change in the differential setpoint. The beam-pointing controller for the centroid can be tuned by mathematical analysis of the step response of the position samples of the PSD sensor.
