Prinergy Evo to Print Console Connectivity User Guide—(1.5MB)  

Use to output imposed images on plates.

  1. In Prinergy Evo, Process Template Editor dialog box, open this process template.
  2. In the Layout section, Name list, select the correct plate size.
  3. In the Render section, Device resolution list, select the correct resolution for the device (1200X1200 or 2400X2400).
  4. In the Calibration & Screening section, Harmony Medium list, select the required calibration.
  5. In the Screen Rulings list, select the required screen settings.

  6. Save the process template.

 Prinergy Evo process template for output to Magnus 400

Creates a 2540 dpi LZW compressed TIFF file with Staccato screening for output to a Magnus 400 Xpose.

  1. In the Magnus 400 Xpose, create templates and attach them to a hot folder.

  2. In Prinergy Evo, Process Template Editor dialog box, open this process template, and in the Processed File Preference section, select Send Processed Files to check box.

  3. In the Device Path box, browse to and select the Magnus 400 Xpose hot folder.

  4. Save the process template.

Use to output imposed 1200 dpi TIFF files to a Print Console hot folder for imaging on the Trendsetter NEWS.

  1. In Prinergy Evo, Process Template Editor dialog box, open this process template.
  2. In the Calibration & Screening section, Harmony Medium list, select the required calibration.
  3. In the Screen Rulings list, select the required screen settings.

  4. In the Processed File Preference section, select Send Processed Files to check box.

  5. In the Device Path box, locate the Print Console hot folder. 

  6. Save the process template.

Known limitations

Magnus VLF and VLF AL Dual plate imaging is only supported with Print Console 4 and later
Trendsetter NEWS Only TIFF files via shared hot folders supported
ThermoFlex Wide Only TIFF files via shared hot folders supported
