Motor Replacement

Conveyor Motor (Cat # 316C20010)

Overview

The conveyor motor (cat #316C20010) is located on the left side of the conveyor and can be accessed only when the conveyor assembly is pulled out on its telescopic slides.

Replacement Procedure

1. Turn off the plotter.
   
   
2. Pull out the conveyor assembly
   
   
3. Disconnect the electric wires from the motor.
   
   Note: You need to remove the motor cover in order to access the wiring).
   
   
4. Release the four screws and nut (#70, 75, 76)
   
   
5. Pull out the motor. The belt (#54) should stay on the assembly.
   
   
6. Remove the driver pulley from the motor and assembly it on the new one.
   
   
7. Install the new motor on the conveyor using this procedure in reverse order.

Check

Check that the conveyor functions properly during Film Unloading.
