Lotem Controller software version 3.50.07 compatible firmware for the Lotem™ Quantum Spectrum

This document is relevant for all Lotem Quantum Spectrum machines.

Each Lotem Controller software version requires the installation of several compatible firmware applications. Following, you will find a list of all the required firmware applications for the Lotem Quantum Spectrum Lotem Controller software version 3.50.07. Once Lotem Controller 3.50.07 has been installed, each of these applications must be loaded to the TMCE board and the Thermal Head 2 (TH2) in order for the machine to function properly. Each item in the list links you to that item's installation instructions—each set of instructions includes the downloadable application.
Note: The firmware applications can be installed in any order.

Additional information

Once all compatible firmware has been installed, whenever you perform calibration, be sure that the Media Calibration Script: 0.9 (QuantumSeries.spt) is used.

Tip: To obtain information about currently loaded firmware versions, open either the Service Shell or Splot application and type one of the following commands at the command prompt.

• To display a list of currently loaded firmware, type one of the following:
  • QUANTUM>> fw dir
  • QUANTUM>> list version all
• To display a list of firmware that is currently loaded to the TH2 head, type QUANTUM>> th2 "ver".
