Error

• Local3 board does not respond
• Interlock is open
• Error On Load Roller Valve Valve/Solenoid HP detector: No change/No Valid state of Detector in OFF Operation

Symptoms

• Local3 board on the left hand side: Interlock is open error message appears at startup—even though the platesetter's doors are closed.
• Local3 board on the right hand side: Error On Load Roller Valve/Solenoid HP detector: No change/No Valid state of Detector in OFF Operation
• MCU intermittently stops at the wrong level
• Valve and/or gripper error messages appear

Cause

Two conflicting components within the platesetter cause Local3 board error messages to appear.

Solution

• Connect a closed circuit connector to each of the Local3 boards, see FCO #512-02139A Preventing Local3 board error messages.
• Add a capacitor to the new Local3 board's reset circuit, see FCO #512-03285A - Resolving 'Local3 does not respond' error message
