Checking voltage supply test points helps to isolate problems resulting from connection and power supply failures. Reseat all connectors on the PCB assembly before checking voltage supply test points.
Warning:
Many of the electronic components in the Trendsetter 3230/3244 are extremely
sensitive to electrostatic discharges. Before troubleshooting any electronic
components, ensure you are properly grounded with an antistatic wrist strap
connected to a ground point within the machine.
Warning:
Some boards and cables in the Trendsetter 3230/3244 conduct high voltage
signals. Verify whether a high voltage is present before disconnecting a cable
or servicing a board.
