Power Distribution

Electrical power enters the Power Box through a power inlet on the lower right side of the Trendsetter VLF, near the floor. The AC follows a path through a circuit breaker to the Power Distribution Board (PDB), 10-1428A.

The PDB distributes AC power to:

• Three power supplies
• Main drive amplifier (MDA)
• Fan box fans
• Blower
• Card cage fan
• Power box fan
• Carriage motor fan

DC power distribution for the VLF TS is generated by three power supplies located in the power box.

• PS1 is located on the floor of the power box on the left side.
• PS5 is attached to PS1.
• PS3 is attached to the rear wall of the power box above the CMD board.

DC power is distributed from the PDB to:

• Backplane
• Engine Satellite Electronics
• Exposure head

The EMI filter and varistors are connected to the PDB.
