Product description

CTP Feature Licensing (CFL) is an integrated feature license management system that provides feature control management for multiple applications. Its purpose is to:

• protect Creo device features in a flexible, consistent, and secure way
  and
• protect the value of Creo service tools.

CTP feature licensing generator

CTP feature licensing generator can be used to:

• search and retrieve licenses from the database
• check when a dongle and a device don't match
• allow authorized users to generate licenses for emergencies

Customer dongles

The following products require a customer dongle (632-00197 - to order, use 518-01599A) Dongle photos:

• Media Console for Dupont Proofing Media (Trendsetter MCE CR4.0)
  To order a customer dongle for Media Console, see Requesting a feature license for Media Console for Dupont Proofing Media or EPS Licensing if you need a license for a device that has not been licensed.
• MCE Trendsetter device features including speed, format size, etc.(Trendsetter MCE CR5.0 and higher)
• Auctus (Trendsetter MCE CR5.0 and higher)
• Magnus device features (Magnus VLF CR3.0)

Service dongles

The following applications require a service dongle (632-00281) Dongle photos:

• TCP/IP Configuration Wizard (Service Shell 2.6 - part of Trendsetter MCE CR4.0)
• Service Shell 2.6 SP1 can use a service dongle or a service license instead of a password for access.
  Starting at Service Shell 3.0, a service dongle or customer dongle plus service license are required. Passwords are not supported.
