Connecting to DoPlate800 (E30)

1. Verify that both the Brisque and the DoPlate800 are powered off.
2. To connect the Brisque to a DoPlate800, first, connect the fiber cable (Cat#138E00090) from the SFL-PCI adapter to the DoPlate Data Unit (electronics crate) VLSI-PIF adapter.
3. Connect the SCSI cable (Cat#504L41232A) from the electronics crate (DDU) to the DoPlate800.
4. Connect the RS 232 cable from the Brisque serial port COM1 (refer to E30 rear view) to the DoPlate800.
5. Power on the Brisque and the DoPlate800, identification of the DoPlate is automatic.

Doplate Connectivity is supported up to Brisque ver. 2.2. Version 2.8 does not support Doplate.

6. From the Launch Pad double click the Calibration sub-panel and then click Configuration. If the cable connections have been correct the following screen appears:

For AIX 4.1.5 the RS 232 cabling from the serial port on the Brisque to DoPlate800 has been changed to one cable Cat#504L41518A.
