Two D-box configurations are available for the Magnus 400 family and Magnus 400 II family platesetters. The D-boxes are compatible with both products; the only difference is the color of the D-box.

514-00221A: D-box 60 Hz + pack

The sensor wiring detector replaces the lower enable detector (on the unload roller) and the upper enable detector (on the load roller).

The sensor wiring, which performs the same function as the upper and lower enable detectors, enables the system to accurately locate the drum position so that the grippers open at the correct loading and unloading position.

Note: If your platesetter is equipped with the lower and upper enable detectors, when replacing parts, make sure to order the relevant lower or upper detector and not the sensor wiring.

USB service and customer dongles are similar in appearance.

Service dongles have green stripes, while customer dongles have blue stripes.

In addition to the color coding, and to ensure that you are using the correct dongle, check the serial number on the dongle to determine whether you are using the correct dongle.
