Ripro Backup (Legato) TIC - Installation Guide

Upgrading from Ver 4.2 to Ver 5.1 and Up

Note: An Upgrade Enabler Code is needed for version 5 for NetWorker. No Update Enabler Code is needed for JBX or No. of slots.

To upgrade from Legato Ver 4.2 to Ver 5.1 follow these steps:

Insert the Legato NetWorker CD-ROM Ver5 in the CD-ROM drive.
To install software, refer to Software Installation in Networker Installation and Configuration.
Proceed to Download CD Software.
Refer to Server Configuration in Networker Installation and Configuration to install new binary programs of Legato 5.1 and latest patches (currently patch 2).
Refer to Enabling and Authorizing NetWorker to execute the enabling and authorizing procedure using the update code.
