After every installation, open the Output Devices Installation Report Tool and submit the Installation Report. This installation report replaces the Installation Feedback Report Form previously used for all Magnus VLF devices.

This patch fixes a PSRM error that causes high orthogonality in pixel doubled heads.

The CR4.1 CD contains a file called KodakScsiCtpInfInstaller.exe in the patches folder. DO NOT install this file. Installing this file will cause communication problems with the SCSI port and could result in a hard-down situation.

If this patch is already installed on a workstation, run the installer again and select the Uninstall option to restore the SCSI connectivity.

All output devices that use PDB 10-4112 are at risk, especially the Magnus VLF with TH3 and APL. The safety relays can malfunction and weld together. If this occurs, the head remains energized. If the safety interlocked access panels are open, and you use the direct diagnostic prompt from Service Shell, you can create a potentially hazardous situation.

If you attempt to upgrade to Magnus VLF controlled release version 4.1, you may experience a TH3 firmware image error.

The GMCE board has been updated to version F to accomodate the KIL UDRCs. Version E boards can still be used on all CCA output devices until stocks are depleted.

The chiller flow switch is reporting that the coolant flow is too low. The head power is automatically switched off to prevent overheating.

The Leading Edge Clamp (LEC) funnel upgrade improves plate loading of large wavy plates. It addresses the variability of the LEC opening.

When you replace a GMCE board, the new board may not have the same core firmware (boot code and Xilinx) loaded as the old board. Rerun the core firmware installer to update the code after replacing the board.

Controlled release 4.01 has now been released. As part of this controlled release, Service Shell now has a device configuration tracker applet. This applet can be used as an electronic version of the 100 label. A new service tool within the Service Shell 3.1 client allows recording and tracking FCOs, preventative maintenance visits, and other service actions on a device.
